Archdeacons' Room

Drove off at 8am and got back at 7pm having spent the day at Diocesan House at a Reader Selection Conference. Can't say much detail sorry. Food was very nice.
Funniest moment for me was seeing the sign on the door of the room they gave me for my interviewing: Archdeacons' Room Rev'd James .... Ministerial. Its a visual gag and doesn't read so well in text form. Its a room set aside for more than one archdeacon if you were wondering about the apostrophe. Oh yes you were.
Profoundest moment of the day was someone using the 'All scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, correcting and training in righteousness' bit as a way of saying they didn't expect the bible (the context of the converstation was to do with Genesis) to be scientific. Cutting Moses a bit of slack.

Came back home, watched first half of Avatar. It is long and grown up and still Pocahontas.
